Little Acorns Camp
Ages 1-4 with parent
Inspire your little one to explore as you share the joy of nature together. Who makes their home in the habitats around you? From prairies grasses to the turtle pond, you will meet the critters that make their home right in your own backyard! Closed-toe shoes required. This camp is appropriate for children who have not attended preschool. Adults are free.

Bitty Boots Camp
Ages 3-4
Strap on your farm boots and head out to the farm! Littles will get a chance to get a little mud on their boots while they meet the farm animals, help with some simple chores, work in the kitchen garden and enjoy farm games and activities. Parents may stay on site but are not required to stay with their child.
Camp meets at Primrose Farm, 5N726 Crane Rd. on Fridays from 9:30-11am. Sessions run Jun 5-26 and Jul 10-31.

Nature Discoverers Camp
Ages 3-5

A perfect camp for your little naturalist! Discover nature in the woods, fields and along the pond edge. Make simple crafts, play a variety of educational and fun games. Must be age 3 and potty trained. Camp designed for children who have attended preschool.

Little Scouts
Ages 3-5
Summer is the perfect time to engage your child’s imagination through hands on activities in art, music, exploration, and sensory play. Camp is lead by experienced Pottawatomie Preschool staff, and includes plenty of time for discovery both indoors and out. Enjoy time on the playground, bring a snack to eat with friends, and participate in group games. Please note: children should be fully potty trained for this program.
Camp meets at Pottawatomie Community Center, 8 North Ave., Tuesday & Thursday from either 8:45am-11:45am or 12:15-3:15pm.

A unique camp for animal lovers! Learn about life on the farm. Start your day with simple and safe chores while meeting farm animals. Farmyard fun includes playing games, nature walks and exploration along with farm-themed activities. Enjoy a snack grown in the kitchen garden, too.

Teen Camp
Participants in this camp should be entering grades 6-8.
Ready for an adventure? Spend your summer on-the-go in this safe, fun, supervised teen camp! Activities include local and regional day trips, arts & crafts, sports & games, minigolf, pool visits, movies, farm days and more! Fee includes transportation and admission for at least two weekly trips to popular destinations. Camp details will be emailed the Friday prior to camp the following week.
Camp meets at Baker Community Center, 101 S. 2nd St, with convenient drop off/pick up on the west side of Baker Community Center during regular camp hours, 8:15am-4pm. Chicagoland day trips may result in later pick-up times.
Camp meets Monday-Friday.

Nature Teen Camp
Ages 11-14
Come join the adventure at Hickory Knolls! We will spend the week exploring the natural areas, playing games, visiting the pool, doing arts & crafts, performing science experiments, and much more! This camp is great for those in grade 7-9 who are excited to be out in nature, along with enjoying some classic summer camp activities.

Counselor in Training Leadership Program
Ages 12-15
Designed for kids looking for some first-job and team building experience. A positive, cooperative attitude is required for this unique opportunity. Program participation is based on an application and interview process. Applications are due by Wednesday, April15. Interviews will be conducted in late April. Fee includes t-shirt, pool admissions, field trips, and supplies per session.

CiT Leadership Bootcamp
Through games, workshops, and fun activities, teens will improve communication and organizational skills, practice making decisions, collaborate with others and set achievable goals. Spend time volunteering in the community, but also make time to play! Teens will become more confident and excel in leadership roles.
Leadership Bootcamp meets Monday-Friday, June 1-12, 9am-1pm.
CiT Leadership Experience
Be a Leader: Take what you’ve learned in C.I.T. Bootcamp (or from a previous leadership program) and apply it this summer assisting counselors with park district camps. Keep campers busy and safe during daily programming. Help organize and lead a variety of games, activities and projects. C.I.Ts will meet weekly in small groups with counselors to continuously improve leadership skills. Participation in C.I.T. Leadership Bootcamp (or previous leadership experience) is required to register for these 1-week sessions.
