A place for tail-wagging fun!
These unsupervised, fenced-in areas are the spot for dogs to run, romp, sniff, chase, play and make new furry friends. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, off-leash dogs must remain under their owner’s voice control.

East Side Sports Complex
Open Dawn-Dusk
Access via the parking lot off Commerce Drive from Kautz Road
- .84 acre fenced dog park (not around pond)
- access to the site’s pond

River Bend Community Park

James O. Breen Community Park
Open Dawn-10pm
Northeast Entrance – Access via the parking lot off Lynn Drive east of the pickleball courts
West Entrance – Follow the winding path off Campton Hills Road until reaching a parking area near the west side of the dog park. This entrance is closed during the winter months.

Use of the dog parks is at your own risk. St. Charles Park District strives to offer a pleasant experience for all guests at every facility. Rules are established to offer a clean and safe environment for everyone. St. Charles Park District is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Violation of any rules may result in serious injury and/or immediate removal from a park or facility.
Dogs must be …
- up to date on all vaccinations and wear a current rabies tag.
- leashed entering and exiting the dog park, especially in and near the parking lot.
Owners must …
- supervise their dog at all times as they are legally responsible for their dog’s behavior.
- scoop the poop, immediately pick up waste and properly dispose of it.
- fill in holes dug by their dog.
- follow the carry in/carry out Leave No Trace etiquette.
- be courteous and respectful of other park users. No profanity.
- keep all paws and people healthy, enjoying smoke free and alcohol free parks.
Prohibited …
- food or treats
- glass containers
- female dogs in heat
- aggressive or sick dogs
- more than 2 dogs per owner on any one visit
- children age 10 & under

Timeless Tags Dog Memorial
Located in Delnor Woods Park
Anyone who has ever experienced the loss of a pet knows the pervasive sense of grief that never fully goes away. While treasured pets may leave a hole in our hearts, they no longer have to leave a hole in our lives. Bring an ID tag memorializing your beloved pet to place on the sculpture and help grow its coat of many colors, as this unique sculpture becomes a year-round destination for healing and celebrating the role pets play in our lives.
