As a nonprofit, player-first soccer club serving Chicago’s western suburbs with two year-round indoor training facilities, the club provides opportunities for boys and girls ages 3–19 to develop both on and off the field. The professional, licensed coaching staff follows U.S. Soccer Federation curriculum and development methodologies while taking a holistic approach that focuses on technical growth, character, confidence, and a lifelong love of the game.

Lightning – STC Fast Pitch Softball
Focusing on teaching softball, developing players and all the elements of the game for ages 8-17. Coaches offer pitching camps, catching camps, fielding camps, coaching camps and speed & agility training. Players have access to the finest training and game facilities. Highly competitive teams compete in national tournaments.

A community-based organization that provides an affordable, team-oriented and appropriately competitive baseball experience for ages 17 & under. Both recreational and travel baseball opportunities will create lasting memories and friendships for all players. Learn and play baseball in a structured and safe environment, while instilling the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty and respect. Leagues available in the spring/summer and fall seasons.
St. Charles Canoe Club
Canoeists, kayakers and paddlers of other disciplines have come together to focus on fitness, form and safety since 1972. The club meets weekly on the Fox River from mid-April to October, weather permitting. Activity and race schedules are available online. All ages welcome. Contact the club prior to attending.

With a rich history and dedicated volunteers, the St. Charles Girls Softball Association has been providing a fun and encouraging softball environment for young athletes. This program offers both recreational and competitive opportunities for girls to learn and grow in the sport. Players build core skills such as hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running while gaining confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Teams participate in seasonal play at local fields, with opportunities suited for a range of experience levels. Registration is offered online each season. Fall league games are held at the end of August-October.

A positive basketball experience for 1,200+ young athletes! Offering recreational and travel leagues, this program provides an environment where basketball fundamentals are taught and developed in an instructional climate appropriate for each child’s ability level. Practices and games are played at local school gyms. Travel tryouts for grades 4-8, boys and girls, are in August. Online registration for Recreational Leagues and Travel Tryouts begins in August.

Providing an opportunity for Pre-K thru 8th grade athletes to learn the basic fundamentals of football in an environment that stresses safety, sportsmanship, teamwork and fun. Choose between Flag Football and Tackle Football. Sign up begins in the spring. Season starts at the end of July and runs through the mid-November.
