The in-line skating and skateboarding trend continues to grow in the St. Charles community! The Park District’s skate parks provide safe and fun atmospheres where teens can practice their tricks and stunts. Only in-line skates and skateboards are permitted. Although supervision is not provided, the Park District advises all users to wear personal safety equipment including protective gear.

Use of the skate parks is at your own risk. St. Charles Park District strives to offer a pleasant experience for all guests at every facility. Rules are established to offer a clean and safe environment for everyone. St. Charles Park District is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Violation of any rules may result in serious injury and/or immediate removal from a park or facility.
- Safety First: helmets, elbow pads, wrist pads, knee pads & proper shoes are highly recommended
- Bikes are allowed at these skate parks: East Side Sports Complex and River Bend Community Park
- Be courteous and respectful of other park users. No profanity or misconduct.
- Enjoy smoke free & alcohol free parks.
- Help keep the skate park area and park site clean. Do not litter, vandalize or graffiti
- Follow the carry in/carry out Leave No Trace etiquette.
- Personally-owned ramps, boxes or other devices are not allowed.
- Please no food, beverages, glass containers or gum.
- The following activities are prohibited: littering, vandalism, amplified sound, motorized vehicles & unpermitted events.
