Enjoy skating and hockey during daily hours, weather & conditions permitting, at these designated ice rinks:

Langum Park – Hockey Only, Lighted Facility
Use parking lot located on 7th Avenue

Ice Hockey Rules
- Crack the whip and other rough games are prohibited.
- Hockey players should use full equipment for their own safety.
- No slap shots allowed.
Conditions for Making Outdoor Ice
The District needs three (3) consecutive days of weather at 15° or lower to begin freezing the outdoor rinks. This cold spell must be followed by at least five (5) days of weather below 32° before the ice can be used for skating.

Sledding and snowboarding are not permitted in Pottawatomie Park.
Cross Country Skiing – FREE!
Cross country skiing is available along any of the walking trails throughout the Park District once the trails are covered.
