Splash Park Renovation
Scope of Project
- Replace 17-year old splash park amenities and surfaces
- Install new plumbing, pipes and filters
- Renovate sand play area and add a new amenity, provided by the St. Charles Park Foundation
- Install shade structures

Construction began Fall 2024; To be completed in Spring 2025 before Summer 2025 opening on May 24.
Community Input
Input was solicited in spring 2023 from passholders and other patrons about desired amenities.
Updates
- Permits secured from both the Illinois Department of Public Health and City of St. Charles
- Park Board approved contract for project construction in July 2024
- Construction began September 2024
- Grand Reopening held on May 24, 2025
