Judging Guidelines
All entries are judged on originality, creativity, and use of the “Halloween” theme. Special lighting and musical effects are encouraged. Remember that small details like lighting pumpkins and playing spooky music will make the experience for everyone more spooktacular!
A Park District Contest Committee will judge all entries except the People’s Choice Award, which is an online voting ballot. One winner will be awarded for each category.
Homeowners will select categories that apply to their home for judging.
Judging includes the part of your yard and house that is visible/open to the public. Winners will be posted on Facebook and listed on the Park District’s website. All contest decisions will be final.
