The Park District begins hiring individuals ages 15 and up. All job postings include the minimum hiring age for each position. View the age requirements for specific job postings: click here
All minor workers under the age of 16 must have an authorized Employment Certificate (work permit) before they will be eligible to begin work for the St. Charles Park District.
After an offer of employment is made, a student may obtain an Employment Certificate through their school’s Student Resource Office to request a work permit for the St. Charles Park District. Employment Certificates are issued by the Superintendent of Schools or an authorized agent. Please check your school’s website for further information.
