Trails

With miles and miles of trails throughout St. Charles connecting to adjacent communities, there is ample opportunity to explore the Fox Valley area. Trails include:

• Great Western Trail – 17 miles
• Fox River Trail (includes East Side Bike Trail & Norris Woods Bike Trail) – 44.6 miles
• Peck Road Trail – 1.3 miles
• Randall Road Trail – 3.9 miles
• River Bend Trail – 4.4 miles

The biking speed limit in all parks including trails is 10mph.

If you have a Class 1 or 2 low-speed electric bike (fully operable pedals and electric motor less than 750 watts), you’re welcome to ride in the parks or on the trails adhering to the speed limit of 10 miles per hour. Class 3 electric bikes and gas-powered bikes are not allowed on Park District property.
