Air Horn Start: 10am
Eggstra! Eggstra! Read All About It!
Children, ages 9 and under, start lining up at 9:45am or earlier. Participants meet in the River View Miniature Golf Course courtyard. Parents are asked to keep children behind all lines and wait for the signal in order to avoid false starts and to be fair to everyone. A few reminders:
- Be on the lookout for the Easter Bunny hopping around.
- Bring your own basket to collect the eggs.
- Limit each child to 10 eggs.
- Remember your camera, too.
- Recycle your plastic eggs in the marked bins.
Candy has been made on equipment that also processes peanuts, nuts and wheat. If a child needs a non-peanut candy option, please see a Park District staff member wearing an orange vest. Lost children should be taken to a Park District staff member in the small pavilion.
Thanks is extended to all the volunteers who helped stuff more than 12,000+ eggs with candy and prize coupons. Special thanks goes out to event sponsors who help make this event a great success. Without their support, the Park District could not offer this free event to the community.
