Alert minds, healthy bodies, energized spirits — that’s what the Adult Activity Center is all about.
Ages 50 or better are welcome to enjoy a variety of meaningful and fun leisure time activities. Whether it’s socializing with others, surfing the internet, a game of cards or a trip to an area attraction, staying active and engaged in a community lifestyle can mean the difference between aging successfully and aging prematurely.

The AAC bookshelves are brimming with a great collection of books that are available for trading. Feel free to catch up on that novel or biography you’ve been wanting to read. You may also leave your books for others to enjoy.
Ride in Kane
This program unites all of the county’s ride share programs. It provides curb-to-curb service, 24-hours a day, for ages 65+ and disabled residents from their homes to just about anywhere in the county.
Fares start at $4 for the first 10 miles and a .54 mileage charge is tacked on thereafter. Residents who are registered for the previous Dial-A-Ride program will be automatically registered for Ride in Kane and can begin scheduling rides immediately without additional registration required.
