Special Interest

Grab your friends and learn to Hula! Sharpen your skills on Excel or PowerPoint through a computer class. Learn how to put on a magic show for your family. We offer a wide range of special interest activities for those who want somethiing beyond the ordinary. Try improv, moviemaking, and theatre. Cook up some special treats or a fancy meal. Or, train your dog to learn tricks.

Create A Class

Do you have an idea for a class or program you would like to see offered? Better yet, do you have a special interest or talent you would like to share with others? Park District staff are always looking for new program ideas and instructors with creative ideas or “hidden” talents to teach or lead various recreation classes. If you have a particular interest/talent and are willing to lead activities, or if you have a suggestion for a new program, please contact Jeff Greenwald at 630-513-4335.
