Family Programs
The Park District has many programs and outings designed to include the whole family all year round. Learn how to canoe or take fencing lessons. Hike through the snow looking for squirrels, do some art projects together, enjoy a fall hayride or learn about local wildlife, insects and reptiles. More family outing opportunities include camping overnight in a park or knocking down some pins at cosmic bowling. The District also offers a variety of parent and child classes to make gfts for Mother's Day or Father's Day or to spend some quality tinme together learning a sport, making a craft, etc.
