Ride in Kane (formerly Dial-A-Ride)
Introduced in early 2008, this program unites all of the county’s ride share programs. It provides curb-to-curb service, 24-hours a day, for ages 65+ and disabled residents from their homes to just about anywhere in the county.
Fares start at $3 for the first 10 miles and a mileage charge is tacked on thereafter. Residents who are registered for the previous Dial-A-Ride program will be automatically registered for Ride in Kane and can begin scheduling rides immediately without additional registration required.
