Adult Activity Center Drop-In Activities

MONDAY

Pinochle Club
Here’s an opportunity to gather with friends old and new. Strategically play your hand against your opponents. Coffee available.
10-11:30am
Harmelodians
Add a little melody to your day! Founded in 2007 by Helen Muha, this club is open to all skill levels. Learn to play the harmonica, socialize with a great family of friends and enjoy a few treats at the end of each session.
2-4pm
Co-Ed 8-Ball Pool
Join us for a fun afternoon as we chalk our cues and line up our shots. Come and play!
TUESDAY

Bridge Club
Round up your friends and come out for a relaxing morning of this popular card game. Beginner and advanced players welcome.
11am-1pm
Computer Coaching
With volunteers Joy Duerr and Meghan Papke
Computer Coaching is offered free of charge to AAC Members in the Adult Activity Center Computer Lab on Tuesdays from 11am-1pm. Beginners to advanced users are welcome. Drop in with your questions and topics you want to learn about and we will try to accommodate. Special classroom style sessions may also be offered. Enjoy afternoon or evening movies from classics to comedies. For movie listings, refer to the most recent AAC newsletter.

Mah Jongg
A game that originated in China, commonly played by four players (with some three-player variations). Similar to the Western card game rummy, mahjong is a game of skill, strategy and calculation and involves a certain degree of chance.  Come test your skills or learn a new one! New players welcome!
3pm
Wii Bowling Club
Enjoy bowling? Come try Wii bowling, a video game played using a remote and TV. Players will rotate through the game and keep score.
6-9pm
Chess Club
Beginner and experienced players are welcome.
6:30-9pm
9-Ball Pool
A handicap system is used so everyone has a fair chance of winning. All levels of players welcome.
WEDNESDAY

Table Tennis
For 50 & better, double the fun! Two tables are available in the multi-purpose room for organized, recreational play and social. New AAC members are welcome.

Queen Bees Quilting
Come share the fun of quiltmaking with your friends and neighbors. Swap ideas, patterns and more with volunteer Jan Cox.

This drop-in card club is specifically designed for the duplicate bridge card player who is looking for a challenge. Spectators are welcome. Coffee is available for a donation.

Trivia (last Friday of the month)
Do you find yourself watching Jeopardy...everyday? Then you must enjoy trivia! Keep your mind sharp! Participate with a team or as an individual. Teams will be formed the day of the program.

Scrabble Dabble
For beginners or tournament level...come out and play! Enjoy scrabble or any other game you wish to 'dabble' in.


Duplicate Bridge at Baker Community Center
Games are open to those interested in playing duplicate bridge. Certified directors direct the games and are qualified to issue rating points to all who win. The number of tables determines the number of winners earning master points. Nominal fees include refreshments to play in the St. Charles game.
